I only got four new tyres thinking the bigger size wont fit in the space where the spare is but when i got it home i removed a wheel and tryed it. It fits fine.
I cant figure out how to upload a picture to the post.
Hope this is of some use to someone.

Cheers
Paul
Author: DealerSceptic
Subject: 3996
Posted: 02 January 2011 at 13:43

I have the wranglers on my 55 plate Pathfinder, they seem to be a good tyre, you will find most of the tyres on the market range between £150 to £200 each, best way is to do a search on the net, in my experience stick to the correct size for your vehicle which is listed as you have referenced, the letter at the end is the speed rating, some tyre companies will try to sell you a speed rating higher than you need, but dont go lower, if in doubt, check with your insurance as you dont want to invalidate anything. The suggested speed rating is the T or H rated (http://www.blackcircles.com/general/speedrating) the price does increase with the speed rating.

Don't be afraid to shop around and play the tyre sellers off against one another, this market is very cut throat and discounts wont come unless you ask and then you will need to claim you have a better price elsewhere, if they quote you £160 claim you can get the tyres at least ten pounds cheaper per tyre at the next main competitor, if you're not used to haggling you will be surprised how much you can save here, just be prepared to walk away if they don't bite and also be prepared to pay more if you dont want to admit if you go too low, it's all part of the game.

If you are buying more than one tyre make sure you search the net for any offers available, also ask the dealers when you phone, they may not have any offers advertised yet, you may be lucky and find a buy one get one free deal.

Some of the small independant garages can manage to beat the national company prices, dont forget to try those, normal service garages also sell tyres so give them a chance too, it's all a case of how much time you want to spend to save money.

Good Luck.
