Hi all, hope you all had a Merry xmas and a happy new year, looking to get a set of roof bars for going on hol in april, any ideas where to get them at a good price ? Live in central Scotland.

used them a few years back without problems if your stuck try halfords (not there own brand tho) but it will be pricey |

Hi
It all depends what model you have, if its the base model without the fashion bars fitted already I would take a look around halfords for the footpack and cross bars they have and the Thule ones. If you already have the fashion bars fitted like the SVE it might be better looking further a field in the USA. I got my cross bars from ebay in the states for a fraction of the cost of the oe Nissan parts and it only took just over a week for them to come too. Kev |

Hi Kev,
Ive never ordered anythink from the states. Do you not get hit with customs charges and all that jaz.? I wanted to get a set of crossbars myself but just got a quote from nissan today of £224.

Hi
I never got charged when I bought the roof bars, but have been charged in the past for items I have bought via ebay. Pot luck maybe? The Nissan uk price is unbelievable for what you are getting, more so given other spares are reasonable. Kevin |

I never got charged to, i think the dealer are the one who will talk to the customs about it. When i got my Nissan parts from states,i haven't pay anything to the customs.
