Had a big moment.....

   Today I had a massive Randy Mamola moment,WHY? 

Well I came of J7 on the M4 and headed towards slough. At the roundabout (not riding hard) the bike spat me off big time, ended up running next to the bike  .Never hit the deck though, saved it big time and I managed to get back on the bike. What the f**k happened?Well I pulled over and then discovered the right side of the bike was covered in oil (thought the engine had gone at first)   .I then noticed that the oil filler cap was missing (how long had that been out?). 

I plugged the hole up with some blue paper roll I had in my box and took a slow ride to see Paul at George Whites in slough. He very kindly took an oil filler cap from a new bandit so I could get back on the road. We came to the conclusion that if no one had loosened the cap,then with all this heat we have had over the last couple of days the cap worked itself loose some how. 

Bike is ok and it seems it aint lost that much oil
