   Hiya,

I have a 1994, L reg micra. Brought october 09, have had no problems with it until about 4 months ago.

It started as an occassional jerk, not specific to any speed, distance, amount of fuel. Just as and when it feels like it. It has now developed and the jerks can be prolonged, where any acceleration does nothing the the speed just starts to reduce, and as soon as it passes you can drive normal again. Also more recently when i reach around 57mph it just juddders and wont let the speed increase further, this can be for an entire journey but sometimes rectifies itself, sometimes by me stopping the car and then carrying on.

Very strange, checked spark plugs, oil, fuel tank for water. 

Any ideas welcome as it is getting progressively worse used to be 2 weeks between episodes now happening at least once a day

	common faut on the micra is the soldering in the throttle body cracks this causes all sorts of problem this affects most k11 micras heres a link to a pdf guide. http://www.micra.com.au/technical-articles/cg13de-throttle-b ody-resoldering-guide.pdf
