note passenger door locking

   Hi all, I have a nissan note & the passenger front door will no 
longer lock, using the key or from inside the front door can still be 
opened from the outside. It used to be fine & I don't know when it 
stopped working as I discovered only yesterday that the door opened when
 all others where still locked. Any Ideas?
