Good day, I have just traded in a 12 year old Isuzu Trooper against an 07 Pathfinder Trek. I hope it is as good as the Trooper has been. There was a very active user group and a lot of technical advice.

My query is relaitively simple. I wish to fit a Parrot handsfree kit. How do I remove the radio to gain access the the wiring at the back.

Thank you

David

I think on the Pathfinder there are 2 screws on the centre console that you need to remove and then pull the whole console forward. Then there will be a further 4 screws that hold the radio in place.

It is besically remove the cup holder which pulls upwards, centre trim covering gearstick which lifts at its front and comes forward from the dashboard.

Remove the lidded compartmnent above the radio (lifts out) there is awo screw behind in the centre at the front which needs to be removed to allow the radio facia to be removed. This then allows easy access to the 4 screws holding the radio.  For my radio I needed adaptor leads  type SOT-918 which plugged in easily. Getting the mic to a central position by the interior lights was easy as was finding a location for the Parrot control box.
