No, the fan isn't coming on straight away, if that helps.

Is it by the radiator? I'll have to check tomorrow.

Oh, I thought you meant the aircon/heating. What fan? Can you hear it if it's on?

Left ours at garage and they thought they'd been sent a faulty temp sensor from Nissan and that that was the source of the engine flooding problem. Put in a different one and idle seems a lot better but not convinced this has solved the problem. I'd like them to also check out the idle control valve as suggested above.

Hi,

I have an 03 Micra and am getting the same problem. Also the fuel consumption has increased enormously. Did you have this too?

Last July I had a new throttle body, cat, Lamda sensors, you name it.

Took it back into the garage and they couldn't detect the problem till I left it overnight. Then they replaced the temperature sensor.

Went back in for it today and now the car won't even start but is getting flooded each time.

No codes come up. The mechanic is a bit mystified.

Did you solve your problem yet?

no lights on the dash and no faults showing when it was
plugged into the laptop and as i say once the engine is
warmed up the problem no longer exists
