I have a nissan micra k11.
I have tryed to sort what was a messed up wiring system, the car does not have the original harness connector as this was cut off by a previous owner. I have tryed to manually connect up the wires to a iso harness connector with a blank end. so that then i can connect the harness to my kenwood to iso harness. I think I have got the cables correctlly matched up working on what I can find in my haynes manaual and what each cable is labeled as on the iso harness. But all it says when i turn it on is protect. Can some one please help |

what kenwood is it if its a kenwood mask you will need the mask key (little keyring) to unlock the stereo later kenwoods have a 4 digit code this is iirc printed on a card/back of the manual its not colour for colour to colour either for the wiring but it sounds like you have worked it out anyway btw welcome to CN one of my pet hates is when people hack harness's about for the sake of a £3-5 lead grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. orange on the iso is for the dimmer (turn your headlights on and it dims the stereo) so its not important the black should be a ground some stereos have 2 if you havent got the code you will need to get it decoded default codes are 1234 and 0000 |
