I have a 2006 Note SVE with climate control air-con, the heating side of this seems to work fine but the cooling side is non-existent, when you switch it on it just feels like a high powered fan blowing outside temperature air. Has any one had any similar problems? I know Kwik fit do an air-con recharge service but is this jusy another kwik fit con?

Hi, you could try an independant or regas it yourself. between £20<50 for a refill bottle and follow the instructions, I've used this on two cars Ok but if your system has developed a leak, it won't last long. best to exercise the air con at least once a month to keep the seals elastic.
both motorcycle wheels drifting with the power on feels great

take it to a garage with an air con setup who know what there doing not the quick fit monkeys

a leak test with uv die will find any leaks if any it shouldnt be too dear, as soon as it toped up if theres any pressure drop their see it. The climate on my note turns the car into an icebox in 4-5 mins on a very hot day tbh i like to have the windows down rather than the CC

my dad's almera is usually topped up kwik fit people and they seem to be fine. just dont let them touch anything else. their technicians only know what they sell i.e. changing tyres, changing oil etc.
