Hi folks This may have been brought up many times before I'm not aware as I am a new member. I have a 2004 Patrol SVE with 50k on the clock, great service history and purchased from a reputable dealer. 7 months motoring and 5k later oil pressure light comes on, levels ok, straight to garage new oil, new filter and pressure test goes from 3 to 65. £130 and good for two days. Back to oil light staying on the straight off next crank of warm engine ANY ADVICE Please |

Hopefully it's just a failed sender unit. The pressure test (althought the numbers mean nothing to me) should give you some piece of mind that alls ok with the engine, i.e. - oil pump working, no blocked oilways, etc, etc. But, car should be tested again along with the sender unit asap. |
