My little classic i bought off Ebay back in 2008
will post pics in order of when i forst got her to the latest ones taken May/June this year.

As she was when i bought her.

2 weeks later after doing MOT work and giving her a good cut & polish.

Hand cut and polished engine bay & bonnet just before Rising Sun Car Show 2008.

Now, in 2009 i had to store her at a friend's place..so it sat there for 3 years till May this year.

This is her when i got her back.

Got the Jet wash out and gave her a REAL good scrub down.

Now for the RUST...AGAINAngry...Drivers side rear sill.

The welding starts

All done

One last wash and polish after it's MOT and shes now ready for the road.

my own personal touch..but can be removed and the original back box put back at any time.

Since these were taken and the car passing it's MOT she done 300miles, all ive had to do is,

Cambelt (1st in it's life) at around 52000
Dizzy cap and rotor arm
Fix a leak on the the carb.

since i've owned her she has never given me any trouble at all.

I do, at some point, have to change the water pump as its started winging at me (nose bearing gone dry)

Hope you all enjoy.

It's the postcode area i live in mate, a lot of "discounted" companies won't even cover here

As for the quote i got on the cherry, it was over 1700 for fully comp!

Google peter best insurance and go to the website, they have a section for classic car insurance and when you click on that you cab then do an online quote in around 1min without putting any important details in other than you you age and postcode.

Gives you a very close price...
