Can I make a web address into a short cut on my desk top?

yes... either drag and drop out of your favourites when you're browsing through explorer... this way you have to re-create the favourite again for IE as you remove it from the list...

or go into your hard drive folder (possibly c: drive).... then documents and settings, then whatever you have called your main account, then click on favourites (big gold star).. you can then right click on the web addy and then hover over send to then select  desktop (create shortcut)

Yea, you can just right click on the desktop and select new---shortcut. Paste the url in the first box and click next, type a name in the next box and click finish.


If you have a saved favourite then In IE you can just right click the shortcut in the favourites and choose send to desktop (create shortcut)
