cheers guys!! ^^^what spec was yours pal and why did you get rid?

i am stilll awaiting the delivery of a few main parts to arrive from the states!  it should take us about 2 weeks to get the pulsar built back up! when these bl***y parts arrive lol. Which finally means i can start sitting back and watching all my hard work come together, finally, and i can start concentrating on bigger turbos, suspension, anti-roll bars, 8 pot brakes, wheels, remapping, etc, etc.....

when i have run the engine in fully (and after 4 oil and filter changes) i will be driving down to surrey to FUSION MOTORSPORT to get the oe NISSAN ecu remapped with 4 maps on, and a GT3071R tubby fitted, which is THE best turbo available for the pulsar!!

also does anyone know about this cryogenic freezing business (who, where, etc) and shot peening?? as i am going to be building my own uprated gearbox! which consists of getting the box internals shot peened to strenthen them up (so i dont randomly strip a gear under boost) with a cryo'd gearbox casing, just to toughen up[ the OE box. the standard box is like butter when warm, so not good when i am searching for 400bhp @ wheels!!

hoefully with everything going to plan i should hope that she comes out to play before the snow comes haha!!!

i will post up pics of the engine rebuild bit by bit if anyones interested!!

thanks for reading

alex
