Yes - It's surface rust where water gets into the engine bay via lots of thread holes with no screws in them on my current purchase but, there is also some bubbling under the rear window in several places  - I guess this is normal for 9 year old Almeras?

the front cross member under the radiator seems to rot (takes a while to go through though!) on these but other than that i would imagine its surface rust?

Hi - New to the site - just in the throws of purchasing an Almera 1.5S hatch on an X plate - this one seems ok but I've looked at quite a few from R reg to Y reg and all seem to have pretty rusty engine bays - weld lines, chassis rails etc - Is this normal or is there minimal waxing at the factory??

Ta for any comments
