Hi. My first Post on this forum so be gentle My dad has a 2001 3.0 turbo diesel Patrol that he has had to rebuild the engine on due to a piston failure. After doing the and putting it all back together over the last year he has forgotton where a few things went. Just hoping someone on here has the same engine and could see where he's going wrong. The picture below is of the diesel injection pump. There is a metal pipe comming off the pump that is missing a hose. Does anyone know where this goes?
The next picture is from the front of the engine and there is a connection that does not go anywhere??
