Recently bought a 2005 Almera 1.5 (53 plate). In years gone by previously owned a Sunny (later one) and Bluebird, which were superb motors in their day. Was a bit scared of the bad publicity the Almera has regarding timing chain problems, but I must say, that doesn't seem to be an issue with the one I've got, which runs like a dream. I'm a bit of an amateur mechanic - like to do my own repairs - and Nissan are good cars to work on. So - no regrets so far.
