    Posted: 28 October 2013 at 22:38
Hello,

I have a Nissan Almera 2001 2.2D. At the moment the horn does not work. I have powered the horn with a probe and works. I then changed the relay and still no luck.

Here is a diagram of the relay and the terminals.

What happens is that the Signal wire is a negative but once connected to the relay it turns into a positive 12v feed and I get nothing to the Horn Feed.

Please could you assist me further, also am I able to convert this into a 4 pin relay? If so please could you include diagrams etc.

Thank you

Have you checked the fuse in the fuse box at all?

Also have you checked the horn switch inside the car?

Do you hear the relay "click" when power is applied to it?

Have you applied a direct 12V to the horn itself?

Yes all fuses have been checked, I do not hear the click from the relay. I have given a live to the horn directly and it works.

Ok, if your not getting a click from the relay then it's the relay that has gone. change this relay and you should be good.
