For Microsoft, Shih said, “it’s not enough” for Windows 8 to only match Apple’s current popular features, Shih said. “You have to compete with the new Apple.”
Perhaps alluding to the price that Microsoft wants to charge for Windows 8 – another source of worry in the industry, Shih also noted, “You have to create value.”
