We have a 2007 Pathfinder automatic with about 20,000 miles on the clock. We do not use it during the week - not the right car for commuting ! The battery loses all juice after a few (5-7) days of not being used. The battery is in good nick (tested by RAC and Nissan) and Nissan dealers have checked to see if it is being drained. We love the car but this is a problem. Anyone have any ideas ?

Has anyone checked the charge rate on the car?

Also i would be tempted to get another opinion on the battery condition if there is no drain.

Update on battery draining. Having identified drain at auto electric specialist (and replaced battery) we went back to Nissan with his report. It now turns out that a bulletin has now been issued saying that the battery drains because the software in the computer is wrongly programmed so that it uses too much power after the ignition is being turned off. Nissan are replacing the relevant unit for free

I have just bought a '57' Pathfinder Adventura Auto with 20,000 miles.

I will also only be using it at the weekend and for family holidays/outings.

Apart from the battery, how have you found it?
