Mums 2001 1.0 K11 has died shes bought a battery from
Halfords �68.00 which annoyed me as i have a trade card!
So im off down there tomorrow to have a look as she tells
me the bonnet is frozen shut!
So i am after the battery number the uk style number ie
027, 069, 072 which will be on a replacement battery.
So if anyone knows i would appreciate the heads up.
Looked on e bay and it may be 027 seems the halfords one
was not that dear after all

thay normally put battery prices up this time of year anyway

friend of mine used to manage a parts shop this weather thay use to clear 20-30 batterys a day no problem

027 seem a bit on the small size, where you can go the next size up for a better cranking rate

Now sorted she had got the wrong type battery terminals
So back to halfords return the battery use my trade card and got the.
�68 battery for �41 she was quite pleased with that!
Apparently if the battery has small terminal the car was japan built and
if larger standard terminal was uk built
