| i am not very car orientated so bear with me. when i start my car it is fine but after the engine warms up, there is like a rattling noise you can hear in the car when you drive along, it is like a ticking over noise but could be a slight rattle and when you turn the engine of it rattles a tiny bit. i lifted the bonnet up but i cant see anything but to be honest i couldn't spot anything. Trouble is being a woman i want to use the right language when i speak to the garage. any help appreciated boys x |

have you checked to oil, low oil will make the valve lifters rattle (there sound like thay have jumped out the engine and thier tap dancing on the bonnet) When was it last serviced ?? also what year/reg is the car ?? ps. Welcome to CN |

thanks flash i will check the oil, it is 09 reg it was serviced a year ago and is due next month for a service
