HI chaps Need some guidance and I'm hoping this is the place to find it :-) I've a 10 plate nissan note Tekna and I need to program a new fob, I've googled myself to death and keep finding the same push key in and out 6-10 time but this doesnt work, well I dont seem to be able to get it too Any advice really appreciated Thanks ------------- On a rock |

Hi and welcome to CN Is this a complete new key that has never been used for the car? If so as far as i'm aware it needs coding to the car, the programming feature you are trying is probably only for keys that are already "chipped" to your car. -------------  Don't ask me, i just work here! |

Like i say i'm not 100% sure but i think the fob will need to have the info on your old one transferred over, best off asking either nissan or a good auto key supplier, depending on how new your note is key cutters may not have the right software to read the keys. ------------- Don't ask me, i just work here! |
